Bloomsday - Spokane
50,000 people descend upon the Spokane streets to run, walk, stroll, or just celebrate the Lilac Bloomsday 7.5 mile timed run. It is always the first weekend in May, and Spokane hotels fill and overflow to Coeur d’Alene. Participants from all over come to celebrate this fun spring run.
Kootenai County Fair Grounds - brings Rodeo, Eurocross, Craft Fairs, Gold Shows, the Farm Fair and so much more.

June
Car d'Lane
Coeur d’Alene’s Classic Car Weekend held early June. Coeur d’Alene’s Sherman Avenue is lined with cars and trucks from 1975 and pre-1975 for the Car d’Lane Friday night parade. On Saturday, you can stroll through the CDA streets to inspect your favorites at the “Show ‘n’ Shine”.
Hoopfest - Spokane
Hoopfest is another Spokane event that fills hotels in Coeur d'Alene as well. This 3 on 3 pick up basketball game has become a national treasure, with serious competition!
Ironman Triathlon
Only the fittest athletes participate in this city-wide show of athleticism; biking, running & swimming Lake Coeur d'Alene!

4th of July Parade and Brewfest
After the 4th of July Parade at McEuen Park you can indulge in Coeur d’Alene’s Brewfest! Sample local microbrews while enjoying live music and great food. Designated drivers enjoy for free!
August
Art on the Green & Street Fair
Coeur d’Alene Street Fair & Art on the Green – This annual August event features over 250 judged vendors provide truly unique crafts and fine art. Many items are unique to the Pacific Northwest. The event is handicap and stroller friendly, plus you can shuttle bus for free between the two venues. A great place to get your Christmas Shopping Done!
Wooden Boat Show
Hand-crafted antique wooden boats parade the lake to show off their equisite craftsmanship!
September / October
Coeur d’Alene Oktoberfest
Travel through Downtown Coeur d’Alene and sample crisp Oktoberfest style beers and ciders in participating downtown businesses September 16 – 17! On your journey you will find over 20 different options to indulge in! In between brew sampling, fill up on German food from special Oktoberfest menus at one of downtown’s restaurants!
Coeur d’Fondo
The Coeur d’Fondo Classic is a breathtaking bike ride along beautiful Lake Coeur d’Alene. This year’s event offers 5 distances from 14 miles up to 116 miles. Centro and Piccolo riders get a boat cruise either to or from Harrison at the south end of the lake. Join us for great swag, fully stocked aid stations, and chip timing, all culminating is a festive Oktoberfest party throughout Coeur d’Alene’s Downtown.
November / December
Christmas is a beautiful time on Lake Coeur d’Alene. Eagle Cruises, Santa Cruises, spectacular Christmas Lights and New Year’s fireworks. Come enjoy the seasonal celebrations in Coeur d’Alene.
